GAS PIPELINE

Natural gas pipelines are trunk pipelines that transport natural gas to users. The starting point is a gas field, oil field or LNG receiving station, etc., and the end point is often the urban gas distribution terminal. The composition of natural gas is mainly methane, the content is often more than 80%, and contains ethane, propane, butane and its isomers and other heavier gaseous hydrocarbons, and often contains hydrogen, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and a small amount of inert gases such as helium, argon, etc. Before the gas enters the gas pipeline, it must be purified to make it meet the temperament requirements of commercial natural gas.
